Missing Link Electronics (MLE) and ASICSoft are inviting you to an Embedded Technology Luncheon on “Designing Next-Generation Embedded Systems … with Your Head in the Clouds”.

Featured speakers will be:

* Doug Perry – FPGA Design Expert and reknowned author
* Endric Schubert, PhD – Embedded Technologist at MLE

Doug Perry has been active in the EDA and systems design field for over two decades and is also the author of “VHDL Programming by Example” and “Applied Formal Verification“; his prior positions include senior technical management positions at programmable device company ElementCXI, Synplicity, Bridges2Silicon, Exemplar Logic, etc. He earned his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering at South Dakota State University and also did graduate studies at the University of Santa Clara .

Doug and Endric will be describing the opportunities and challenges of embedded cloud computing and how those can be addressed by utilizing Open Source technology in combination with integrated and pre-validated Programmable Design platforms such as the MLE “Soft” Hardware platform.

This luncheon will be co-located with Embedded Systems Conference 2010 in San Jose, CA and will take place

Wednesday April 28th, noon – 1:30 pm in the San Jose Marriot Convention Center Hotel.
